There are two questions for each speaker.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"http:\/\/accesis.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/CAE_P1_Ex1-Business-1.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>\u00a0How does the man feel about the work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>\u00a0He finds the creativity stimulating.<br><strong>B<\/strong>\u00a0He would like to use his academic training more.<br><strong>C<\/strong>\u00a0He gets most satisfaction from being part of a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>\u00a0What do they both think about the job?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>\u00a0It&#8217;s a difficult career to get started in.<br><strong>B<\/strong>\u00a0It&#8217;s important to be able to work flexible hours.<br><strong>C<\/strong>\u00a0It&#8217;s a poorly paid job for the amount of work involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Listen to the same text again and fill in the blanks with the missing words:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M<\/strong>: As a kid, I was always <strong>A.<\/strong> &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; on computers, so ended up doing a degree in computer science. Though strictly speaking it isn\u2019t necessary for this job, it did mean I could <strong>B..<\/strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. What companies want is people who can come up with ideas. I <strong>C<\/strong> &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..  &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. from that side of it, even when it\u2019s hard. It\u2019s a fluid working environment, so hours <strong>D<\/strong> &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. and can be long in relation to the salary. I generally like to work on my own, but a web designer can\u2019t produce <strong>E<\/strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;, because by its very nature it\u2019s a collaborative effort.<br><strong>F<\/strong>: I didn\u2019t go the university route but worked part-time with different companies and made <strong>F<\/strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; who\u2019ve come in handy \u2013 <strong>G<\/strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. in the door.  <strong>H<\/strong> &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; \u2013 then I got a full-time job offer that got me <strong>I.<\/strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; It wasn\u2019t easy, and considering what you put in the job\u2019s not <strong>J<\/strong> &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; that people assume it is \u2013 at least not at the beginning! I supplement it by writing reviews of other people\u2019s sites, but I enjoy the flexibility.
